JMX*2000
JMX*2000 is a cybertronic dance band designed to stimulate enthusiastic audience elbow-movement. With special space-suit safety apparatus, these ‘out-of-this-world’ sound-creators combine retro-futuristic digital and analogue electronics with phat sampled beats and live drums, launching listeners into an incredible atmosphere of zoidable inspiration. Rocketing basslines, vocodered vocals and a wild theramin also feature in the mix. Though somewhat enigmatic, JMX*2000’s unique approach to the electro-drum-n-bass nu-jazz genre has proved popular with festival crowds, high-school students, and house plants.
